ShoreBarge was formed to complete the company strategy of not relying on subcontractors in critical supply chain positions, as their priorities may not correspond with the needs of the group.
This gave the group the control and timing necessary to service ShoreAir's operations in the Kimberley. That experience has now been transferred to the philosophy of ShoreBarge of only accepting outside work capable of supplying a service to the same standard required from the group.
In conjunction with ShoreBase, ShoreBarge is able to offer logistical support to its customers using the company's experience in offering yard storage, freight handling, freight forwarding and consolidation.
