Health and Safety
1. The ShoreLands Group places our people’s health and safety as the highest priority. Our key objective is a workplace free of accidents, incidents, injuries and damage to property and the environment.
2. To do this, we have developed and maintain safe systems of work and a safe working environment through our Integrated Management System (IMS).
2.1 The IMS was developed to incorporate the key components of the following standards in a practical and achievable way.
- AS/NZS 4801: 2001 Occupational health and safety
- AS/NZS ISO 14001: 1996 Environment
- AS/NZS ISO 9001: 2001 Quality
2.2 Our staff are encouraged and supported to implement the IMS by identifying hazards, assessing and controlling risks to themselves, others, the environment and property.
2.3 Information and training are provided to enable all workers to support this policy.
3. To ensure that our commitment to quality, health, safety and the environment is maintained, measurable targets are set and we seek to continually improve our performance.
4. The ShoreLands Group encourages all employees to maintain a positive attitude and performance towards quality, health, safety and the environment.
