The history of the shorelands group
ShoreLands was the original company of the Shorelands Group and was formed in 1989 to supply specialised labor and equipment to the Northern Territory’s expanding oil, gas and construction industries. Originally starting with a single 12 tonne Franna crane targeting the precast concrete construction sector, ShoreLands now has an extensive range of cranes, trucks and trailers to support all industry sectors in the Northern Territory.
The ShoreLands Group of companies was formed after ShoreLands recognised the need to be able to control all the elements of supply chain management. The application of universal safety and quality standards across our range of services, guarantees our clients a continuity of service efficiency which is difficult to match where a diverse range of service providers is used.
This ideal lead to the birth of ShoreAir, ShoreBase and most recently, ShoreBarge. Each of these companies provide world class logistical support for the oil & gas industry and provide a comprehensive chain of services.
