Arthur Hamilton
Managing Director
Arthur came to Australia from the U.K. in 1979. After employment as a crane driver, he managed Green Steel Construction in Darwin, then became Supervising Rigger for the construction of the Channel Island power station for Hawker Sidley Engineering and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Arthur then worked for Brambles Industrial Industries until he established ShoreLands in 1990. |
Steve Caldwell
Manager Corporate Services
Steve has worked as an OHS regulator for nearly twenty years in Tasmania and the NT in roles such as Design Officer, Workplace Inspector, Senior WorkSafe Officer, Assistant Manager and Manager Prevention. His career also includes ten years as a designer/project engineer in engineering and mining, designing cranes, tanks and mining equipment such as conveyors, crushers and materials handling equipment from design through to commissioning. Steve is a qualified Engineering Technician. He has completed his Mechanical Engineering Certificate (equivalent Associate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering) and a number of selected university subjects in OHS and related studies. He has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Steve came to the ShoreLands Group in February 2007. |

Russell Peet
Group Maintenance Manager
Russ is a fitter / turner by trade and has experience working on heavy diesel equipment, he has also completed an Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. In his 21 years in the Army Russ began as a tradesman fitter and moved up the ranks into a Management Position due to his strong capabilities to plan, supervise and manage equipment and personnel. During this time he served in two operational tours of Iraq. After 21 years in the Army Russ began to consider the opportunities of the Private sector to broaden his management capabilities and experience. He joined Shorelands in 2008 as Manager and has already implemented successful and working procedures to the benefit of the company. |

Phil O'Donnell
Group Logistics Manager
Phil is the newest addition to the ShoreLands Management Team. Phil was appointed as the Manager of ShoreBase in July of 2007 after completing a fulfilling career in the Australian Army. The bulk of Phil’s experience has been in integrated logistics, in support of heavy machinery and plant based organisations, in a multitude of different environments. He has been on operational deployments to Bougainville (near PNG), East Timor and the Sudan in north Africa. Phil decided that it was time to develop his management and business skills in another arena, and found the position of ShoreBase Manager to good to refuse. Phil brings a wealth of logistics and management knowledge to the group and looks forward to contributing to the success of the Company. |
