The ShoreLands Group takes pride in its active physical and financial support of community groups and events such as:
- Royal Darwin Hospital The Shorelands Group arranged a performance by James Blundell for the staff, patients and familes of Royal Darwin Hospital. View the thank you letter
- Dragons Abreast (breast cancer awareness and support organisation) As well as being the major sponsor, the Group supplies rent-free office and storage space in its Winnellie premises and provides the use of its boardroom for Dragons Abreast’s annual general and other meetings. Fundraising assistance is also given for events such as the Dragon Boat Races, Crab and Quail Night, Hit Pink Golf Day, etc., with ShoreLands Group staff donating their time assistance with coordination, organisation, obtaining items to be auctioned, etc. Download Brochure Page 1
- NT Polocrosse Association. Shorelands is proud to support polocrosse in the Northern Territory and is a major sponsor of the NTPA.

Go to the Palmerston Rugby Union website - Tiwi Bombers. This indigenous NTFL team from the Tiwi Islands (comprising Bathurst and Melville Islands) was formed in 2006, and became the highest finishing debut team in the NTFL’s history by making it into the 2007 finals, with a team member being drafted into the AFL following their first full year of competition. The ShoreLands Group is the Tiwi Bombers’ major sponsor, assisting with provision of rent-free office space, air travel, uniforms, coaching, etc.
- ShoreLands Group employees regularly hold staff fundraising events such as Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, barbecues, etc. with money raised being donated to causes including the State Cancer Council, Camp Quality and Leukaemia Foundation.
